3. I chose to use an out side setting
because I like the natural lighting. The
place I have chosen is a small pond, I
chose this because I like the little Island
in the middle. I think that having a
photo shoot outside suits the music
genre more as it is not forced and fake.
4. I chose to shoot
my picture in
portrait because
I could then get
more detail into
the pictures as
well as being
able to make the
picture fit the
A4 page properly
5.
6. I chose to use these 3 boys as they are styled
in the way I think the band members would
actually dress. Each one has their own style
and it does not looked like a forced style.
When I was taking the photos I told them
to just look natural and let them stand how
they wanted. I took a lot of different photos
and decided to choose the one I wanted
after.

10. I decide that I wanted
to use this as my
image as they all have
a direct gaze towards
the camera, as well as
this I like the stance
they have as they look
powerful which is
how I wanted to
portray them.
11. This is one of the final edited
choices I had, I like how I have
made the back ground a lighter
more subtle tone where as the boys
as a brighter more vibrant, I think
this shows them off more and
makes the viewer focused on them.
In the end I decided against this as
the band did not seem close, they
are all positioned away from each
other which is not normal for
bands to be standing. To make
them closer I cut them out and
placed them on another setting
which I took a couple of days after
the initial shoot.
12. This is the final setting I
chose. I like this picture
because of the iced
branches making it look
like winter. As well as
this I like the crisp cuts
along the trees and
leaves.
I had to be careful when
adding them in as I
didn’t want it to look
fake.
13.
14. This is the finished Image
that is placed on the cover.
I like the closeness of them
and the order that they are
standing in as they seem
like a real band with the
‘favourite’ at the front. I
think that the image looks
as real as possible and if a
person was to look at it
they wouldn’t tell the
difference.
