1. Male hip hop stars… On my double page I have decided to feature a male star, for this I have asked a peer to pose as a celebrity. Having chosen the hip hop genre I have had to research and take in to consideration the types of clothes male hip hop stars wear… Male hip hop stars usually wear caps on their heads, these stars are a form of free advertising for these caps as people who are in to hip hop will by the hats to be like their stars. Designer Jackets, t-shirts and tops, again these stars are a form of free advertising for these products. 2. Having taken in to consideration the clothing of the male featured on my magazine, I had to think about how I would like my star to be portrayed. To do this I thought about the way in which my star would pose and his body language. Hip hop stars usually pose in ways that reflect their persona therefore I wanted my star to pose in a way that would be referred to as “cool” . Also they usually look quite serious and rarely smile therefore I do not want my model to be smiling. The stars also seem to be quite lose and look like they are not really bothered, I would like my model to portray this sort of image. As you can see he is not smiling and seems to look more serious. Body language is quite lose, does not seem smart, reflects his cool persona.
