5. 1.1 Definition of Divorce
MEANINGS OF DIVORCE:
Divorce mean ends a marriage; Divorces the point when a couple
cannot continue their marriage life together.
DEFINITION OF DIVORCE:
The legal separation of husband and wife, effected for cause by the
judgment of a court, and either totally dissolving the marriage relation.
The legal dissolution of a marriage by court or other competent body:
“Her divorce from her first husband”.
6. 1.2 History Of Divorce
In Islam there are separate rules for divorce for men and women
under the term of Islamic law. When man is initiated a divorce,
the procedure is called Talaq. Shia and sunny Muslims have
different rule for performing an Islamic divorce. Sunny practices
require no witness and allow a husband to end a relationship by
saying the one, two or triple talaq. Sunny also believe it to be
wrong. The circumstances which are regarded as an acceptable
vary amongst the Sunny group.
Shi’a scholar view the triple talaq (In one sitting or one sitting
or at a time) as a pagan pree-islamic custom forbidden by
Muhammad (S.A.W), reinstated by Umar Ibn al-khataband thus
sinful.
7. 1.3 Causes of divorce all over the world
Financial problem is also cause of divorce.
Drinking or drug is also cause of divorce.
Problem with personality or behavior that cause
conflict in marriage.
Not meeting obligation to family is also a cause of
divorce.
Work interferes with marriage is also a cause of
divorce.
Incapability is also cause of divorce.
Marital infidelity is also a cause of divorce.
8. Last twenty years indicate the high rate divorce in
Pakistan. The main issues in Pakistan are these that are the
causes of divorce.
Financial issue is also a cause of divorce.
Sexual problem is also a cause of divorce.
Lack of sacrifice is also a cause is also a cause of divorce.
Forced marriage is also a cause of divorce.
Greed is also cause of divorce.
Joint family is also a cause of divorce.
Second marriage is a cause of divorce.
Another reason of divorce is mental or thinking gap
between couples.
Majority of divorces are the result of poor communication
and inferiority status.

on the life of people and how people feel about it and
cope with it.
Through survey report our Govt. may take hard
decision and to save dying economy by providing
supply of power to industries.
Through survey we may correct defective policies
made in Pakistan.

20 versions is used for the survey analysis ’Causes of divorce
in Pakistan’.

It is define as analysis carried out on only one variable to
summarize or describe the variable

Bivariate analysis is one of the simplest form of
quantitative analysis.
It involves the performing of an analysis between two
variables for the purpose of determining the empirical
relationship between them.
This analysis reveal whether or not there exist an
association between the variables.

31. Conclusion and Recommendation
Almost 89% peoples are satisfied with above
mentioned reasons that these are the major
causes of divorce in Pakistan and the
remaining 11% peoples are has their own
opinion. We can’t discuss about them that
what they are thinking. We should respect the
relationship between the families and we
should love with each other and lead a well-
balanced life.
