6. OPEN HANDSET ALLIANCE(OHA)

It’s consortium of several companies of 84 firms to develop open standards for mobile devices.

This group of companies are allowed to use source code of Android and develop applications.

Reason for Nokia not to develop Android Mobiles is Nokia is not part of OHA.
 Members of OHA are not allowed to produce phones that run incompatible versions of Android.
