8. 30% watch horror and 30% watch romantic comedy the most.
90% are scared by horror, I feel that this is because they were not brought up
with horror films with modern special effects so when they watch horror as
now they are easily scared by modern horror films with special effects. 10% may
not be so scared by horrors as they may have kids and have experienced and
matured a lot and have come to the conclusion that what you see in horror
films is not real.
Blood and gore scare them the most as this is what films they were brought up
on contained.
Majority have watched 30+ horror films.
80% said content is the most important in horror films, at this age they pay
closer attention to detail in comparison to 16-19 year olds.
8/10 feel that content is the most important in a horror trailer.
40% think that the image is the most important thing on a horror poster
100% watch horror films that are of a certificate of 15 as they felt that horror
films for 18+ are not as scary as 15+ horror films.
