Often, getting started in any venture is the most difficult
part, and so it is with bodybuilding. It can be so easy to
actually get started with working out. Nobody will
know, right? You might be tempted to put of starting a
bodybuilding program until tomorrow or next week or
next month but before you know it another year has
passed you by. Before you know it another year is gone
and you are in worse shape than you were before. But
what if you had started working out a year ago? What
would you look like today? This is why you need to stop
thinking about it and start doing it. You have nothing to
               lose and everything to gain.
Sure, it is absolutely important that you know what you're
doing when you first get started with bodybuilding. You
need to know what to do and how to get to your goal with
correct information so you can achieve your goal. No
matter if that is to help you to have a stronger body so you
can excel at whatever sport it is that you enjoy or just to
have a healthier and better looking body.
Why is having a good working knowledge of body building
so important? Because the purpose of bodybuilding can
not be achieved at once. This is a whole process, a
path, and for many people it is even a lifestyle. Once upon
a time I could not even imagine that working out would
become a part of my life. I had no interest in it at all. It just
wasn't me. I never thought I would have ripped abs. I
thought I would never be great, fit and attractive.
Everything has changed though because I have gradually
learned about bodybuilding. Then, over time, all that I
have learned about this amazing subject has brought me
to where I am today. During that time my ideas about
bodybuilding changed quite radically. It wasn't until I
found really honest information about physiology and how
our body works that I began to see results. It is a pity that
this did not happen earlier. I hope you're not going to
overcome the same disinformation, as well. We conclude
                     our brief digression.
Of course, you are probably looking for specific answers to
your questions on what exercises work but you should
know that building a healthy, muscular body is more than
just lifting a lot of weights and doing a bunch of exercises.
Our muscles are like our children and like children they
need the right foods, the right exercise and the right
amount of rest if we expect them to grow. Now, we all
know that muscles grown when we feed them the right
amounts of protein, fats and carbohydrates. These are the
necessary building blocks of healthy muscles but what
                          about carbs?
If you are heavy it is because of excess carbs in your diet.
Your diet may be mainly carbs which is what is probably
making you gain weight and cause you to be called last in
                   gym class for kickball.
So, should you avoid all carbohydrates? How can you get
rid of this fat or at least stop building fat in your body?
After all, your body does still need carbohydrates. Carbs
are important and are burned for fuel to keep our body
running and to feed our brain. They help to feed your
                 muscles and liver glycogen.
What is glycogen? Glycogen is a form of deferred
carbohydrates in reserve. So, we definitely need to eat
carbohydrates to replenish muscle and liver glycogen. But
about the energy source from carbohydrates for the
brain... That's where, my friend, so called "nutritionists"
made a mistake by relying on old knowledge in the
preparation of their diets! More recent studies by
scientists have proven that WATER is the best source of
                   energy for the brain.
We could go into great detail now about the workings of
water within your body and how it works to create energy
inside of your body. The proof is in the pudding though
and you will find that once you begin to drink the proper
amounts of water, your need for copious amounts of carbs
                         plummets.
So, you can see that if you think that you're going to have
to start bulking up on carbs if you hope to build bigger
muscles then you are mistaken. This is a nice little secret
that just might keep you from failing as you start out in
your quest for a more muscular and healthy body. I have
more next time and I hope that you have found these tips
                 enlightening and helpful.
