Blake Williams has had success in running throughout high school and college. In high school, he led his team to their first victory at the Beast of the Southeast competition and helped the team upset a larger school to win county his senior year. He is now a collegiate runner at Indiana Tech and the photos show him racing in his first 8k and with his team.
2. We won the Beast of the Southeast for
the first time in school history when I
ran cross country my sophomore year.
I was our first to finish on the team
and came in 2nd place.
3. The image to the right is of me
running at sectionals my junior year.
4. My senior year we upset a bigger
school and won county. We all
seemed to come together and do
our best when it mattered most.
5. Last summer my sister ran her first
ever(nearly 4 mile) race and won her
age group. I was so proud. She is 5th
grade and now runs cross country for
Waldron. My Dad is also running now
due to my achievements.
6. This picture is of my watch tan line I
received after a 10 mile run and 10
mile bike ride over the summer. I felt
so accomplished after the 10 and 10.
The tan line was a reminder to myself
of the work I’ve put in.
7. The Collegiate Level
I’m now a collegiate
runner at Indiana Tech.
