Challenge will be to propose genericized offering for personalized solutions
Behavior Change model
Behavior change implies a trigger, a certain level of motivation and the ability to
perform task(s) leading to that change. Research showed that it is often easier to
trigger behavior change by enhancing ability (instead of focusing on motivation)

they are not enough to be the sole behavior change agent for patients

Wearables can be excellent triggers and data collection tools but most of the time
they are not enough to be the sole behavior change agent for patients

‘Motivation’ is a more complex factor
Motivation is highly dependent on patient’s personal background and expectations
balancing between need for humanized, analog and digital support
Wearable as a clinical tool
Wearable as well as any collection tool of patients' data may become an important
element of the creation of algorithm that could enhance clinical outcomes on top of
care experience

Wearable are only a piece of adherence improvement
Adherence as such is not a patient issue. Wearable though could act as an enabler

We can use their characteristics, motivations and behaviors to give us a lens to design experiences that better meet their needs. Patients’ on-boarding deep dive Understanding patients’ motivation and behavior during the first days of therapy 5 Touchpoints Mapping Touchpoints are the moments where a person interacts or engages with a product. The aim is to create a view of the experience through the patients eyes.
