  charged at half price. Sessions must be designated in advance however it would be a

  Should all subjects be of interest then a 10% discount is available off the total cost. This

                                introduction to project management
                             Course overview
                             This course is designed to clarify and explain the basic aspects of a project and project
                             management in order for participants to gain confidence in their project environment.

                             It will help individuals to recognise the key aspects of a project and the importance
                             of their role within it. The course is also intended for those working in supporting
                             functional departments whose work can impact on project success.

                             Course structure
                             This course provides an introduction to the Project Management Institute (PMI)’s Body
                             of Knowledge and covers all of the fundamental aspects of project management using
                             the PMI’s methodology. The course is delivered as a 2 day workshop culminating in the
                             examination. Delegates will be provided with pre-course access to eLearning content

                             This course, which has been accredited by The Association for Project Management
                             (APM) and The Project Management Institute (PMI) aims to provide a forum for
                             Project Managers and members of project teams to gain exposure to Best Practice
                             in Project Management in its broadest sense. Using the professional standard of the
                             ‘Body of Knowledge’ as the basis for the programme topics, the topics are addressed
                             by demonstrating best practices and applying these to a simulation project.

                             The course is delivered as a 4 day workshop. Delegates seeking a project management
                             qualification should also book onto the appropriate exam preperation workshop.

                             * Delegates will be provided with pre-course access to 12 hours of eLearning content.

                             Certification
                             This course is a pre-requisite for candidates seeking accreditation by the Project
                             Management Institute (PMI) for the Certifi cated Associate of Project Management
                             (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials. This also provides
                             35 PMI Personal Development Units (PDUs), meeting the entry requirement. It is also
                             a pre-requisite for candidates seeking accreditation by the Association for Project

Management Plus is a flexible 12 unit programme allowing delegates to work
towards the achievement of a Professional Certificate in Management (PCiM).
The course explores the theoretical background of management concepts and
provides examples of practical applications. Management Plus aims to outline
the fundamentals of competent management practice by embracing relevant
topics.

Delegates attend one challenging workshop per month, interacting with like-
minded individuals from a plethora of organisations.

No prior study or further education qualifications are required to enroll for
