SEARCH FOR GAWAD ENEDA-

                   OUTSTANDING ENTREPRENEURSHIP STUDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES



RATIONALE



        This is an annual project of the Entrepreneurship Educators Association of the Philippines, Inc.
(ENEDA) that recognizes outstanding students in the field of entrepreneurship. The program aims to
inculcate to the Filipino youth the values of competitiveness and achievement orientation.


OBJECTIVES
1.   To raise the standards of entrepreneurship education in the country through competition.
2.   To recognize the efforts of outstanding entrepreneurship students.
3.   To instill the core values of an entrepreneur to students.
4.   To highlight the entrepreneurial spirit of young Filipinos.


GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. A full-time students of Entrepreneurship; or a Business Administration student enrolled in or has
   finished undertaking entrepreneurship class;
2. Should at least be a Junior student;
3. Should have no failing grades or grades below 75 or its equivalent in any subject both in academic
   and non-academic subjects;
4. Must have no record of misconduct and any other school violations.


MECHANICS
1. Each school may send a maximum of three nominees.
2. Each nomination must submit a bio-data with complete information following the pattern of
   presentation required to be placed in a long brown envelope marked with confidential. Supporting
   documents and certifications for all information declared should be presented.
3. Deadline for submission of documents for screening will be on January 4, 2013.
5. Final selection will be on February 8, 2013
6. The announcement of winners will be on the night of February 9, 2012 during the ENEDA’s 10 th
   National Conference.
6. Recognize entrepreneurs, academicians and/or officers of private organizations and government
   agencies will interview the nominees for the remaining percentage of the selection criteria.

7. The decision of the Board of Judges is final. Protest or complaints in any form will not be entertained
   during the event.
8. There will be one winner who will receive a Plaque of Recognition with cash prize.

SELECTION CRITERIA



A. Pre-screening (80%)

I. ACADEMICS (MAXIMUM OF 50 POINTS)

       Includes:

           1. General Weighted/Point Average (G.W.A. or G.P.A.) as of First or the latest Semester of
              School Year 2011-2012;
           2. Received Academic Awards & Recognition (Dean’s Lister or with Scholarships received).


II. NON-ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES (MAXIMUM OF 20 POINTS)

       Includes:

           3. Local or National Professional /Social Affiliation
           4. School Events & Community Involvement
           5. Awards and Citation;


Iii. Entrepreneurial Involvement or Experience
(Maximum of 30 points)
       INCLUDES:
       6. Actual undertaking/business;
                  o In or Off-Campus (Please provide proof of registration or equivalent);

       7. An essay on:
                 o Student’s General Concept of Actual Entrepreneurial Practice (Describes the
                     experiences related to his/her undertaking)



B. Final Selection - PANEL INTERVIEW (20%)
