AIESEC Romania – ING Awards Application
(Global Network Contribution)
Foreword
Year by year, the story goes on…new chapters, new characters, new readers. A story that you know it’s too magnific to
ever have an end and so, you keep being amazed every time you turn a page.
This year the story is about challenging our worldview and pushing back our own personal limitations. Having the
final goals in mind, we strive to find the best ways to get there.
This year the story is about ONE Romania and about the desire to become stronger and stronger. Together with 14
local committees that started to put their efforts in the same direction, we show the world who we are.
This year, the story is about hard moments and about facing the reality. Obstacles are always in the way, but this is
what shows us we are needed in order to overpass them, and so we gain more knowledge, more experience, a bigger
sense of the organization.
This year, the story is about passionate people that want to ACT to ACHIEVE OUR POTENTIAL and about people
that are willing to do this no matter the place. The feeling of fullfilment is something we strive for and so we bring our
contribution in every possible way.
Year by year, this story is AIESEC Romania. And AIESEC Romania is about people. About people that are writing their
own storries, people that are helping others to write their storries, people that are willing to achieve greatness no
matter where they are.

On our road towards results, we also payed attention to how are we doing things in order to
improve our programs and increase our contribution as a country. And so, besides numbers here
are other contributions that we have towards ELD performance:

Also, we have started working on sub-programs on iGIP : Global Education, Global Marketing,
Global IT, Global Engineering.
On iGCDP we run the well-known national project GROW. The story of this project started
in 2010 when was piloted in 3 LCs and afterwards got to be implemeted in all the LCs.
GROW is the nationwide youth development program that represents a long term, non-
formal educational engagement designed to improve the quality of education in Romania.
Untill now the project brought 255 internationals from 48 contries. In 2012 edition there
were 56 internationals.

Chapter 2 – AIESEC Romania is about
expanding our reach
Expansions supported as country partner:

As well we must act when it comes to
contribution and to change. We are a proud
Partner Country of AIESEC in Ireland and
for the past 3 years we have helped them with
resources, information, partnerships and
know-how to make sure that we rebuild this
organization. Our contribution has helped
AIESEC in Ireland re-establish operations,
rebuild their reputation with partners and
Universities and start repaying their debt.
Chapter 3 – AIESEC Romania is about

In 2012, iTtT was organized in the beautiful city of Sibiu, in the heart of 1500
Romania. In terms of delegates, our objective was to have 70 delegates,
both Romanians and internationals. The final number of delegates was 1000
75, from which 35 were international delegates from 14 countries!
                                                                               500
                                                                                0
The amazing atmosphere was spiced with 10 great facilitators from the
National Trainers Team, Alumni and companies. Incomes Expenses
"iTtT was the first national conference from my term.
During the previous editions, there weren't so many
internationals. The maximum number was 10 or 15. When I
saw the number of international delegates in the
registrations file, I was astonished. 35 international from
14 countries! That's amazing! I started to think about what
could this conference become...
The preparation before the conference with the facilitators
went pretty smooth. What surprised me the most from
this collaboration was the fact that we were always on time,
prepared and having in mind what's best for the delegates.
I really believe that having an international conference in
the education cycle can bring strong benefits for members'
development and amazing experiences for all the
delegates.“ (Diana - MC VP Talent Development in
AIESEC Romania)

  • 1. AIESEC Romania – ING Awards Application (Global Network Contribution)
  • 2. Foreword Year by year, the story goes on…new chapters, new characters, new readers. A story that you know it’s too magnific to ever have an end and so, you keep being amazed every time you turn a page. This year the story is about challenging our worldview and pushing back our own personal limitations. Having the final goals in mind, we strive to find the best ways to get there. This year the story is about ONE Romania and about the desire to become stronger and stronger. Together with 14 local committees that started to put their efforts in the same direction, we show the world who we are. This year, the story is about hard moments and about facing the reality. Obstacles are always in the way, but this is what shows us we are needed in order to overpass them, and so we gain more knowledge, more experience, a bigger sense of the organization. This year, the story is about passionate people that want to ACT to ACHIEVE OUR POTENTIAL and about people that are willing to do this no matter the place. The feeling of fullfilment is something we strive for and so we bring our contribution in every possible way. Year by year, this story is AIESEC Romania. And AIESEC Romania is about people. About people that are writing their own storries, people that are helping others to write their storries, people that are willing to achieve greatness no matter where they are.

  • 8. "iTtT was the first national conference from my term. During the previous editions, there weren't so many internationals. The maximum number was 10 or 15. When I saw the number of international delegates in the registrations file, I was astonished. 35 international from 14 countries! That's amazing! I started to think about what could this conference become... The preparation before the conference with the facilitators went pretty smooth. What surprised me the most from this collaboration was the fact that we were always on time, prepared and having in mind what's best for the delegates. I really believe that having an international conference in the education cycle can bring strong benefits for members' development and amazing experiences for all the delegates.“ (Diana - MC VP Talent Development in AIESEC Romania)
