The goal of this lesson is to present your
country/culture by speaking only JAPANESE!!
At the end of spring term, we will have a time to
present your own country by using Japanese.
Each person speaks at least 2 minutes.
We will support you and give enough time to
practice during Japanese class so you do not have to
prepare it other than here!!
⇒You have only to attend the lessons as usual.
5. Two types of adjective(形容詞)
① 「-い adjectives」
Eg)
大(おお)きい[big]⇔小(ちい)さい[small]
難(むずか)しい[difficult]⇔易(やさ)しい[easy]
長(なが)い [long] ⇔短(みじか)い [short]
② 「-な adjectives」
Eg)
簡単(かんたん)な[easy]⇔大変(たいへん)な[hard]
上手(じょうず)な[good]⇔下手(へた)な[bad]

おもしろい映画(an interesting movie)
Eg)昨日(きのう)、面白(おもしろ)い映画をみま
した。
I saw an interesting movie yesterday.
ふるい時計(an old watch)
Eg)私は古(ふる)い時計を買った。
I bought an old watch.
7. 「-なadjectives」
きれいな写真(a beautiful picture)
Eg)京都できれいな写真(しゃしん)を撮(と)りま
した。
I took a beautiful picture in Kyoto.
元気な少年(an energetic boy)
Eg)彼(かれ)は、元気(げんき)な少年(しょうね
ん)です。
He is an energetic boy.
8. Negative of 「-い adjectives」
Affirmative
寒(さむ)いです
It is cold.
Negative
寒(さむ)くないです
(or寒くありません)
It is not cold.
Making negative sentence of 「-いadjectives」,
change the last い syllable into くand addない.
9. Negative of 「-な adjectives」
Affirmative
元気(げんき)です
She is healthy.
Negative
元気じゃないです
(or 元気じゃありません
or元気ではありません)
She is not healthy.
Making negative sentence of 「-な adjectives」,
addじゃないbetween 元気 and です.
