Founded leather and PU goods manufacturer and exporter. Focused product development and client acquisition.
Strategy on providing leather/PU goods for the mobile market including smart phone/tablet cases. Set up Turkish site
to supply samples for extremely fast delivery and if/once samples approved utilized Egyptian manufacturing at lower
cost production with import free deliveries into the EU and USA (under QIZ) for the US market.
Significant clients included Targus US/EMEA, Belkin USA, HAMA Germany.
Primary responsibilities included client acquisition, sales execution, product development, and sales growth
strategies.
Helped develop FORWARD LFC EGYPT operating infrastructure and shared responsibility for hiring, managing,
and allocating personnel. Oversaw the growth of the business from one employee to over 370 employees with sales
of $9 million.

Represented Nextec Applications Textile products for the Turkish Military. Worked on technical specifications and
getting the product accepted by Turkish Military. Worked on all facets of sampling, finding the right partners for
Nextec’s patented encapsulated Epic fabric.

providing leather goods for the mobile market including mobile phone cases, cases for PDAs, and leather cases for
lap top computers. Secured primary worldwide supplier position of leather cases for several of Palm’s most
successful products. First Palm supplier authorized to not only manufacture, but also package Palm’s leather cases.
Significant clients include Casio, Coach, Ericsson, Mulberry, Palm, Siemens, Targus, and Timberland. Primary
responsibilities included client acquisition, sales execution, product development, and sales growth strategies.
Helped develop Protek’s operating infrastructure and shared responsibility for hiring, managing, and allocating
personnel. Oversaw the growth of the business from one employee to over 700 employees with sales of $16 million.
1992 - 1994 KEMER GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB Istanbul,

Responsible for developing Kemer Country Club’s equestrian, tennis, and health programs. Helped prepare internal
and external marketing information. Focused on the creation of sports programs, member acquisition, and member
services. Initiated the equestrian program which ultimately lead to the construction of the largest indoor equestrian
facility in Europe. Created and regularly presented business plans and operational reviews to Kemer’s Board of
Directors.

Developed and implemented business plans to create a chain of upscale cafes and bakeries. Raised approximately
$800,000 of equity from private investor group. Ten percent shareholder in 4-store restaurant chain with annualized
sales of approximately $950,000. Performed extensive marketing research on in-store product mix for target
customer base. Responsible for the architectural design, lease negotiations and construction for multiple café sites.
Shared complete operating responsibility for all aspects of the business including finance, legal, and tax issues.
Managed twenty-three full-time employees.
