5. Feb 1998, Sreenivasan
quits Sony to join CL .
He sports multiple
academic degrees – A
B.Tech, M.Tech (JNU) and
MBA (IIM – B).
CL launches website. And
gains a ace teacher.

6. Hi! This is Intel calling. We like
your proposal on technology-
enabled education. Can we meet?
April 2000 : Hawaii
Sujit receives a call from
Intel Capital while on a
holiday.
Leaves job in California
to join CL.
CL launches its internet
and technology
initiatives.

7. October 2000:
Intel Capital
becomes a
strategic investor
in CL. Sees value
in education
market and
online growth.

8. 2001 : Mumbai
CL makes it first acquisition and enters the
Mumbai market. Acquires top MBA prep brand known as KITS.
