3. WHAT IS ITS PURPOSE?
• Recently Advertiser NewsMedia has experienced an increase in user-generated content
– People on the spot at serious news events
– Photos and videos from around the city (i.e. celebratory events, sunsets, wildlife)
– Photos sent in for regular news segments/competitions
• The Newsforce App makes it easy for reader to become involved in current local news
• Makes the news more interactive to recieve it from the general public as well as
from the journalists
• The App demonstrates the commitment of the Advertiser to use state of the art technology
to better engage with the community.
4. HOW DOES IT WORK?
• The NewsForce Smartphone App is free
to download at the App store and on
the Android Market
• Once downloaded you simply need to
register by providing your phone number

• To add content, simply select Create New Content

• Select Submit to send your content to the Advertiser, Sunday Mail and Adelaide Now newsrooms
