as Housestaff Manager in Radiology where I oversee the educational programs for 81 residents
and fellows, visitors, 12 section coordinators, one FTE assistant and temps for special projects.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2008 - Present: Stanford University, Housestaff Manager for 81 residents and fellows in the
Dept of Radiology at Stanford Medical School. Manage overall administration of 13 fellowships
and two residency tracks, their budgets and expenditures; supervise one FTE staff and numerous
student projects and their resources. Previously at Stanford as faculty support admin, have also
done finance operations and research grant management and assisted in building a Molecular
Imaging research lab for Dr. Juergen Willmann 2008-2012. Cardinal Curriculum Cert. 1 & 2.
2004 - 2007 Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, Program & Seminar Coordinator of Global
Programs, Palo Alto, California. Provided oversight of distance learning programs and student
services for same, beginning new students, preparing courses and materials, advising, problem
solving, student first-contact, overall program recordkeeping and change management. Complex
multi-track event planning and organizing including logistics, venues, catering requests, speaker
contracts and finances.
2000-2004: World Learning, School for International Training, Administrative Manager,
Dept. of Language Teacher Education, Brattleboro, Vermont. Provided services for international
student body, managed a major faculty curriculum revision, and developed and managed systems
of program oversight. First contact for students with questions/issues. Managed student workers,
admin support team, departmental recordkeeping and information dissemination to multiple
international constituencies.
1985 - 2000: The Growing Place, Successful owner/operator of home-based dried flower
growing and craft business while raising a family. Employed/managed numerous workers and
had sole oversight of finance and business operations producing nationally marketed dried
flower products.
