what makes them a living thing.
Task: Choose an animal from New Zealand that you would like
to research (do not choose a domestic or farm animal) Display
your answers to the following questions on a poster or in a
PowerPoint presentation:
•Where in New Zealand is your animal most commonly found?
•What is its habitat?
•How could its habitat be affected by environmental changes
such as pollution or human impact?
•What are its enemies and what threat do they cause?
•How could we show Kaitiakitanga (Guardianship) to ensure
your animal does not become endangered or extinct?
•Draw a diagram of your animal.
