Limit use of shipping methods by country, state, product names, brands, in fact any products attributes. You can also put shipping restrictions based on customer group, store view, order total, weight and other shipping parameters. Very often shipping carriers put certain restrictions based on shipping destination, product weight, product quantity and so on. It's very difficult to comply with these limitations without losing some important functionality.

Carriers, which you would
like to block with this rule.
Specify shipping methods to restrict if you don’t want
to restrict all methods of a carrier. It is not mandatory
to type the full name of the method here. You can just
type ‘Overnight’ and the rule will apply to all methods
of all carriers, which have the word ‘Overnight’ in the
title.

For example you can set the rule to
apply when order subtotal is less than
100, weight is more than 50, delivery
state is Hawaii or Alaska. You can
specify SKUs, categories and other
product attributes to limit delivery
options for particular products.
