#1. Ritual of Solitude:
                       • Immerse yourself in the beautiful
                       blanket of silence for at least 15
                       minutes a day.

                       •It’s a pit stop for your soul to
                       recharge and attain peace.

                       •It works best when you do it at the
                       same      time   in    the     same
                       place, everyday.

#2. Ritual of Physicality:
                             •Based on the principle, you care for your
                             body so you care for your mind.
                             •Take some time every single day to
                             nourish the temple of your body through
                             vigorous physical exercise.


                             •You can practice anything including
                             yoga, martial arts, swimming etc...
                             •Minimum 5 hours a week should be
                             invested in practicing this ritual.

#3. Ritual of Live Nourishment:
                            • Do not fill your body with junk food
                            because it depletes the vital energy
                            levels in your body.

                            •Poor diet affects your mood and
                            hampers the clarity of your mind.

                            •Eat ‘Live Foods’- created through
                            interaction with sun, air, soil and
                            water, a vegetarian diet.




                            **Most of the centenarians around
                            the world are veggies.

#4. Ritual of Abundant Knowledge:
               •Centers on the whole notion of lifelong learning
               and expanding your knowledge base.
               •It’s all about becoming a student of life. Read
               regularly.

               •Reading for about 30 minutes a day will do
               wonders for you.
               •Do not read just anything; be very selective
               about what you put into your precious garden of
               your mind.

#5. Ritual of Personal Reflection:
•Believe in the power of inner contemplation.
•By taking the time to get to know yourself, you
will connect to a dimension of your being that
you never knew you had.
•Note the activities you have done at the end
of everyday on one side of a paper and do an
assessment of every activity in another column.




•Find out the negative aspects and turn ‘em
into positive.
•Get into a regular habit of personal
introspection.

#6. Ritual of Early Awakening:
 Most of us sleep far more than we
 need to. An average person can get by
 on six hours – and remain perfectly
 healthy and alert.
 Remember, it’s the quality of sleep
 that’s important, not quantity.
 Get up daily along with the sun and
 don’t forget to have a smile on your
 face.


 To have a sound sleep, never eat after
 8:00PM.

 Fifteen minutes before and after sleep
 shows a substantial impact on your
 subconscious mind. So, take care of
 your thoughts, words and deeds in

#7. Ritual of Music:
                              •Spend a little time with music
                              every day.

                              •It is one of the finest motivators.

                              •Music makes you laugh, dance and
                              sing.

                              •It gives you a big spiritual boost.

                              •Make sure that you are selective in
                              listening to music as well.

#8. Ritual of Spoken Word:
   •The Sages of India have a series of ‘mantras’
   that they would recite morning, noon and night.

   •This practice is immensely effective in keeping
   them focused, strong and happy.

   •The sounds of these ‘mantras’ will create
   positive vibrations around the person thus
   making him/ her advance in the field of their
   choice.

#9. Ritual of Congruent Character:
“You sow a thought, you reap an action. Reap an
action, you sow a habit. Sow a habit, you reap a
character. Sow a character, you reap your destiny.”

To develop a brilliant character, align your action
with                 these                principles:
industry, humility, patience, honesty and courage.




This leads to a deep sense of inner harmony and
peace. Character is higher than intellect.

#10. Ritual of Simplicity:
•Live a simple life. One must never
live in the thick of thin things. Focus
only on your priorities, those activities
that are truly meaningful. Your life will
be uncluttered, rewarding and
exceptionally peaceful.

•Reduce your needs.

•Story of King Midas: The man who
loved gold so much he prayed that
everything he touched would turn to
gold. When his wish was granted he
rejoiced. That was until he realized
that he couldn’t eat because his food
had turned into gold and so on, so
forth.

Ritual of Personal Reflection: •Believe in the power of inner contemplation. •By taking the time to get to know yourself, you will connect to a dimension of your being that you never knew you had. •Note the activities you have done at the end of everyday on one side of a paper and do an assessment of every activity in another column. •Find out the negative aspects and turn ‘em into positive. •Get into a regular habit of personal introspection.   • 7. #6. Ritual of Early Awakening: Most of us sleep far more than we need to. An average person can get by on six hours – and remain perfectly healthy and alert. Remember, it’s the quality of sleep that’s important, not quantity. Get up daily along with the sun and don’t forget to have a smile on your face. To have a sound sleep, never eat after 8:00PM. Fifteen minutes before and after sleep shows a substantial impact on your subconscious mind. So, take care of your thoughts, words and deeds in these hours. Anirudh Pulugurtha 7
