Adulteration Detection
FABRICATION OF SENSOR:
Tools and instruments: Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, Photolithography, RF-Sputtering, PH-meter.
Description: 1. Inherent milk properties are identified as ‘Potential markers’ for adulteration detection.
2. Detection of adulteration with commercially known adulterants is performed successfully.
3. Fabrication of the sensor and its characterization is achieved.
An Elsevier Journal is Published related to this work.
ON CHIP IMPEDANCE-SPECTROSCOPY FOR MILK ADULTERATION DETECTION
(FERQUENCY- 1Hz TO 1Mhz):
Tools and instruments: Cadence virtuoso ADE
Description: 1. Development of Readout circuitry and control-block for on-chip impedance measurement
within a specific frequency range for various biomedical applications.
2. A high gain Recycling folded cascode structure, a rectifier with filter for magnitude and a
Gm-C structure for phase is being employed for same.
Runners up for “Cadence Design Contest 2016”.
DESIGN OF EEG SIGNAL PROCESSOR FOR REMOVAL OF BLINK AND MUSCLE ARTEFACT
Tools and instruments: Matlab, Xilinx-ISE, ModelSim, and Xilinx Spartan 6 FPGA kit.
Description: 1. The project aims at removing the artefacts from EEG signals like Blink and Muscular.
Focus is to preserve the information after successful removal of these artefacts and design a
hardware to provide diagnosis.
2. The algorithm uses Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) computation and Wavelet Power
Spectrum (WPS) calculation.
3. The design is implemented in Verilog HDL and tested on Xilinx Spartan 6 kit.
A conference paper is published on the work at EMBC-2014.

ENERGY HARVERTING USING REVERSE-ELECTROWETTING
Tools and instruments: Photolithography, RF-Sputtering, PH-meter, Cadence, COMSOL.
Description: 1. Reverse electro wetting is a highly Potential method for high power energy harvesting with
good environmental coupling.
2. The method is based on charge/voltage constrained energy harvesting which utilize
electrowetting phenomenon for improved efficiency.
3. A new process flow for the device fabrication was established.
RF ENERGY HARVESTING
Tools and instruments: Cadence Virtuoso ADE
Description: 1. The aim of the project is to design a system which will harvest energy from RF source and
produce an output of 3.3V to charge a battery.
2. The design consists of a matching network followed by rectifier circuit, which is simplified
Dickson’s charge pump and clock generation circuit.
DESIGNING OF 6T SRAM CELL AND READ / WRITE DELAY MODEL OF 256*64 SRAM
MEMORY.
Tools and instruments: Cadence Virtuoso ADE
Description: 1. The project aimed at modelling of a 256x64 6t SRAM memory module using UMC 65nm.
2. RAM was analyzed considering all the real time parameters (Gate Capacitance,
Fan-Out values, Noise Margins) of the CMOS transistors and parasitic effect of wires were
modelled using RC delay models in Cadence Virtuoso.
Projects (B.Tech.)
POWER CONTROL USING MICRO CONTROLLER FOR EFFICIENT MOLDING OF PLASTIC
Tools and instruments: Keil Uvision, Flash Magic, Matlab, Philips P89V51RD2 Evaluation Board.
Description: 1. This project aims at maintaining the temperature of the different ceramic heater at different
desired point using micro controller 8051 and Thyristors i.e. SCR for efficient molding
of plastic and reducing its losses during manufacturing process.
2. It was implemented successfully at Videocon Aurangabad.
