Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist Animate Behavior LLC – Oakland, Concord, Fremont and surrounding areas A Day in the life of an Animate Behavior ABA Therapist While visiting a client at her/his family home, you’d be running discrete trials, shaping verbal behavior or implementing a BCBA-approved Behavior Intervention Plan – all the while you record real-time data using our state-of-the-art technology platform. On some days, you’d be excited to have your Case Manager or BCBA come to observe and participate in your session, you’d benefit from positively structured feedback that supports the absolute highest standard of clinical quality and the most vibrant client results. Who we are looking for Animate Behavior therapists share a few key characteristics - we’re enthusiastic, value clinical quality, are sensitive to diversity and are highly collaborative. Here are a few more things that make up our perfect team member: You have experience, or have done course work, in Applied Behavior Analysis You have a Bachelor’s degree (training in working with ASD may be accepted as an alternative in some cases) You are comfortable working with clients in their home, in the community or at school You can deal with challenging behaviors such as aggression, tantrums and self-injurious behavior You have reliable transportation and a clean driving record Speakers of Spanish and Cantonese are highly preferred Compensation $15-$22+/hr based on prior experience with $3 an hour bonus option Mileage reimbursement between appointment locations Health and retirement benefits for fulltime employees over 25 hours.
