7. How Does Coding Simulator Work?

The test is designed to assess programming skills. Each question has a set of test cases against which
candidate’s solution is tested. Each test case has a pre-defined weightage and candidates are awarded score for
clearing these test cases.
During the test, candidate may run their code against custom or pre-defined test cases debug their codes.
Once the test is complete, a comprehensive report is generated by the system for each attempt. This report
contains the following information:
Basic candidate information, attempt information, description of problems in test, solution submitted by the
candidate, test cases results, score obtained by the candidate in each problem and overall test score.
Report also contains recorded test session which may be played to view the progress and actions of the
candidate’s code during the assessment.
Snapshots of the candidate after regular intervals are included to detect the use of any unfair means by the
candidate.
