We talk about interculturalism when we think about society in which representatives of different cultures, nationalities, ethnic and religious groups live on the same area and maintain open and impartial contacts. In an intercultural society citizens adopt various points of view and accept differences with deliberation. 4. Thanks to diversity of cultures which create the world, it becomes an unusual place in the universe.
5. We learn at the Jan Twardowski Primary School no 4 in Przemyśl in the south-east of Poland. There are 623 pupils and 58 teachers.
7. Our pupils • are keen on making new friendships with their peers from different countries, • want to know how the nature is protected in different countries.
8. They also would like to share their knowledge about protecting nature because they collect recyclable materials: • overused equipment • plastic caps • waste paper • flat batteries
