Duties : I process the full payroll on SAP for weekly payroll +- 5 sites - 57 employees and monthly payroll
+-500 employees and 25 sites. Adhere to payroll deadlines. Verify all payroll input to ensure they are up to company
standard. Capture timesheets either manually or upload via excel spreadsheet. With the one site with 400 employees –
convert the register to an excel spreadsheet to be able to upload hours to SAP. While doing conversion, I will pick up
incorrect employee numbers; terminated employees used again, new employees, etc. Capture all payroll input: leave,
change of bank details, terminations, transfers, etc. Capture increases; which usually entitles to split hours as our payroll
month is from 15th
to 14th
and increase valid for 1st
. Reconcile the Provident and home loan report with SAP to ensure all
deductions are correct. On SAP, we have to run reports before we finilised payroll to ensure there is no deductions in
arrears, with nil pay slips, give reasons why employees aren’t paid and also not terminated, etc. Print Sims, Contract report,
net pay and get payroll authorized by area manager. Print and distribute pay slips. Attend to payroll queries and capture and
pay payroll queries weekly when required. All input and registers have to be scanned. Timesheets and payroll reports are
filed by ourselves and all other input given to area managers to file.
