1. This is UTi’s Business Transformation Program. The goal is to transform the entire Business
and IT landscape through this ambitious transformation program.
2. Implementing one system worldwide to support the core Freight Forwarding business is the
first phase of this project. Also, the goal is to retire all legacy systems that support freight
forwarding business.
Roles & Responsibilities:
L2 Analyst:
o Understand the PROD incident that was raised in CA Tool and assigned to me
o Analyze the root cause of the incident:
Use basic SQL queries in SQL server.
Use Putty Server Tool in tracing the logs.
Use the KEDB (which is being maintained internally) for a faster
resolution.
Understand, if the incident is in line with the requirements of 1View
(various releases).
Check, if there be any data fixes that are required to proceed further.
Use SOAP UI to process the shipments, if they are stuck due to improper
data being used.
o Update CA Ticket with the resolution giving clear and crisp communication.
