Inland Barges are composed of two types:
a. Barge mounted rigs
This type rig is capable of drilling in water depths from 0 to 12
feet. After being towed on location, the rig’s hull is filled with
water until it rests on bottom

Posted barges are capable of drilling in water depths from 0 to 20
feet

Submersible Rigs :
These rigs and are capable of working in water depths from 18 to
70 feet or (90-1000)m.
