Aranwa, a Quechua word that means "Story" or "Legend ", denotes the unique experience that guests can enjoy each of the hotels. In November 2008 Aranwa opened the first hotel, Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness, located in the Sacred Valley, on the banks of the River Vilcanota. This hotel has been built in an area of 10 hectares, owned by a seventeenth-century colonial hacienda was restored to the splendor of its greatest years. In addition to this property, Aranwa also has a luxury boutique hotel in the city of Cusco and a beachfront property in Vichayito, Piura. In late 2012, Aranwa will open a Resort in the Colca Valley, located south of Lima, in the department of Arequipa. In the meantime the company continues to develop other hotel projects within Peru in other amazing destinations, such as Paracas, Arequipa city and Puno.
