• Amex was a legacy OnPremise customer utilizing Ariba’s upstream & downstream products
that were deployed around the world focused on 4 major markets
• In 2011, Amex embarked on a journey to move from OnPremise solutions to Ariba’s
OnDemand footprint for both upstream and downstream products
• Today, Amex havs fully deployed Ariba Sourcing and Contract Management globally and
have completed the US deployment of P2P utilizing a combination of electronic Invoicing and
Invoice Conversion Services through the Ariba Network
• In the Future, Amex plans to expand the downstream deployment of P2P to other markets
across EMEA and APAC while our legacy OnPremise solution is retired
• Amex leveraged a global team from Ariba Consulting to originally upgrade our OnPremise
solutions and most recently have partnered with Ariba Consulting to deploy the OnDemand
solutions as noted above
• Maximize the Value of our P2P Investment:
• Continue to expand Ariba P2P into our global markets
• Identify ways to consolidate legacy systems by further leveraging our Ariba footprint via new
