The Ritz Carlton in Dearborn, Michigan underwent a renovation and name change in 2010 to become The Henry, part of the Marriott Autograph collection. The multi-million dollar renovation updated guest rooms and public spaces. As a luxury hotel near Ford and the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus, The Henry aims to attract more business travelers and events through new social media promotion strategies across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more to engage customers and drive sales. Progress will be tracked monthly to evaluate if the $3.5 million social media campaign increases hotel traffic and revenue.
