About Burhan Khalid
By day, Burhan Khalid is manager of electronic channels
development for Ahli United Bank. In this role, he is
responsible for overseeing all development effort for
electronic banking channels. Burhan has more than 8
years of diverse experience in the IT field in development
and management roles, having previously served as IT and
projects manager in various organizations. An avid
believer in open source and the mentoring; he volunteers
a large portion of his time mentoring developers and
speaking on open source awareness, development best
practices and tools.

About the Session
We are going to have an interview with the founding team of the famous online game
Koutbo6.com. Below are some of the questions that we are going to ask:
1. How did it all started? Who are the founding team?
2. Tell us a bit more about your products. The first Kout bo 6, and Kout bo 6 now. Along with the
other games your released recently. Backed with some numbers please
3. How did you make money from the web-based Kout bo 6? And what’s your revenue model now
with the mobile Apps?
4. How many employees do you have when you first started? And how many do you have right
now? How did you manage to stay lean?
About Kout bo 6
Koutbo6.com is an online entertainment website, which is one of the
most recognized and largest community based online entertainment
project in Kuwait and the Middle East. Koutbo6.com has a mixture of
popular middle eastern multi-player card games and social networking
web applications.
Ahmad Al-Ibrahim, Dr. Mohammad Al-Marzouq and Hamad Al-Marzouq
are the co-founders of the company and they started the project back in
1999. Dr. Al-Marzouq is now a professor in Kuwait University, Hamad
is working in the Chinese telecommunication giant Huawei and
Ahmad is working full-time on Kout bo 6.
