2. Reading Articles & Ebooks on Your Mobile Device
There are several ways to read articles and ebooks on your
mobile device.
1. Use the Ashford App to
get into the library
2. Download an app (IOS,
Android) from ebrary or
EBSCOhost
3. Email an article to yourself
and access it on your
device
4. You can access the Ashford Library by downloading the Ashford
University App and clicking the Ashford Library button

ebrary now has two dedicated mobile apps –
one for the iPad®, iPhone®, and iPod touch®
and one for Android™.
There are three steps to set up ebrary
on your mobile device
Go to ebrary in
Create an Adobe Download the

9. Downloading the EBSCOhost APP
Go to the Ashford Library and open EBSCOhost
Scroll Down to the bottom of the page and click on the link
EBSCOhost iPhone and Android Application
Enter your email address for
instructions and a key:

Click on the arrow for more
information
Click the PDF link to read the
article
12. Reading articles on your mobile device by
emailing them to yourself
What you will need:
1. The ability to access your
email on your device
2. The ability to read PDF
documents on your device
13. Here are the steps to email yourself an article. The
details of the process will depend on the tools within the
database.
When you find an article you want to
read, click on PDF Full Text
14. Check to see if the
database has an email
tool, usually designated by
an envelope icon. If so,
click on it to send the PDF
to your email
15. If the database does not have a
email tool, save the PDF to your
computer.
Then, send an
email to yourself
and attach the PDF
