It is an inspirational poem - or a life hack, whichever way one chooses to look at it. I read it as a
child more than 35 years ago, and yet I can recall it nearly verbatim - simply because it is so true.
jyoN nikal kar baadaloN kii gowd se
(Just as a little drop of water left the clouds)
thii abhi ek boond kuchh aage baRhii,
(and had proceeded a bit ahead)
sochne phir-phir yehii jii meiN lagii,
(she started thinking again and again)
aah! kyon ghar chhoRkar maiN yuN baRhii ?
(Oh! Why I did I leave my home like this?)
daiv mere bhagya meiN kya hai baRha
(O destiny, what would be my fate)
maiN bachungii ya milungii dhool meiN?
(will I live or get swallowed up by dust?)
ya jalungii gir angaare par kisii?
(would I burn out by falling on fire?)
choo paRungii ya kamal ke phool meiN?
(or I will land on a lotus blossom?)
beh gayi us kaal ek aisii hawa,
(At that moment came a gust of breeze)
voh samundar ore aayii anamanii,
(and carried her unheeding to the sea)
ek sundar seep ka muNh tha khula,
(a beautiful oyster was open)
woh usii meiN ja paRii motii banii
(where she fell and became a pearl)
lowg yuN hii haiN jhijhakte, sochte,

jabaki unko chhoRna padata hai ghar,
(when they have to leave their homes)
kintu ghar ka chhoRna aksar unheiN,
(But quite often, leaving their homes)
boond lauN kuchh aur hii deta hai kar
(transforms them like the tiny drop of water)

sochne फिर, फिर yehii jii में lagii,
आह! क्यों घर chhoRkar मुख्य यूं baRhii?
daiv मात्र भाग्य में क्या है baRha
मुख्य bachungii फिर milungii धल mein
फिर jalungii गगर angaare बराबर Kisii?
च paRungii फिर कमल के िल में?
beh गई हमें काल इक aisii हवा,
वोह समुूंदर अयस्क aayii anamanii,
इक सुन्दर ररसिा का muNh था khula,
वो usii mein जावेद paRii motii banii
lowg यूं िमिा हैं jhijhakte, sochte,
jabaki उिको chhoRna padata है घर,
kintu घर का chhoRna अक्सर unheiN,
बूंद laun kuchh aur िमिा deta hai कर

एक बूँद से
अमरता ममल जाती है
स्वातत नक्षत्र
की एक बूँद से
सीप ,मोती बन जाती है
एक
औस की बूँद
कर देती है स्वच्छ सुमन
एक ही
बूँद दे देती है नव जीवन
एक बूँद का नष्ट होकर भी
नही ममटता अस्स्तत्व
समाती है
बादल मे धुआूँ बनकर
एक-एक बूँद ममलकर
बरसती है वर्ाा बनकर
फिर से वही क्रम दोहराना
आना और फिर नष्ट हो जाना
भरती खुमियो से हर आूँचल
धरा को देती हररयाला तल
देना ही स्जसका स्वभाव
नही उस पर कोई प्रभाव
बस तनष्काम भाव से होना समर्पात
परहहत मे कर देना स्वयम को अर्पात
यह वही बूँद है ,हर बन्धन को
तोडने की ,िस्तत है स्जसमे
4. भले ही नन्ही सी है,पर नही
उस जैसा कोई महान
नही समझते यह सब बाते
लोग अनजान
फक बूँद से ही तो पलता है जीवन
और खखलता है मन
जीवन मे छोटी से छोटी चीज का भी महत्त्व होता है , इस मलये उसे व्यर्ा नही करना चाहहए |
