2. Phoebe Taylor hadn’t got luxury accommodation however much she’d huffed and puffed but the aspiring architect had accepted it with a shrug and a sigh.
3. “Morning Miss Ashton,” Phoebe greeted the matchmaker “I heard you could find a perfect match for me,” Maxine nodded “5,000 simoleons and he will be yours,”
4. The next morning, Phoebe headed off to work as a cement mixer. Her date with an elderly man named Joe Graham had gone awfully wrong, maybe she’d have better luck downtown that night.
5. So she’d been promoted to brick layer, Phoebe headed downtown dressed in a pink and black dress. Rebecca Simself worked in weird ways delivering a legacy handbook to her. The blonde sighed, spouse hunting eh?
6. Phoebe laughed along with her boyfriend Otto Cawcutt “Phoebe stop it!” he shrieked. The two had met downtown a week ago and they’d hit it off almost instantly.
7. Later the two went out downtown together and Phoebe tried out a rather odd contraption.
8. Whilst there, Phoebe met up with one of her co-workers and best friends, Bob Dalton. He was almost like her big brother, she told him of her plans for later that evening and he nodded “You sure about him Phoebs,” Phoebe nodded “I’m sure,”
9. They returned just after night fell and Phoebe smiled at Otto before dropping down to one knee “Otto I feel like I’ve know you forever even though it’s only been a few days. I want you to marry me,” Otto smiled at her “Of course I will Phoebe,”
11. “I love you,” whispered Phoebe and Otto grinned at her “I love you too,” Phoebe was where she felt safe in Otto’s arms.
12. With the money that Otto brought into the family, Phoebe built them a proper house alongside her supervision of the building of a new apartment block downtown as part of her new recent promotion to foreman.
13. The next few months were simple, both went out to work earning money for the household. Otto as a rookie and Phoebe in her role as head of the Taylor Construction Company. “Erm Otto, I’m pregnant,” Phoebe announced “That’s great,” he said brightly before kissing her cheek and running off to work, Phoebe laughed “He took that well,”
14. Almost 9 months later, Phoebe was headed to the doctor’s office for a check up before she gave birth.
15. Unfortunately Phoebe had a difficult labour but brought home a beautiful baby girl. She’d luckily gone into early labour at the doctor’s office.
16. Alexis Rebecca Taylor, was almost immediately nicknamed Lexi by her father. Lexi had blonde hair and brown eyes and looked almost exactly like Phoebe had done at her age.
17. Phoebe tucked Lexi into her crib smiling at her gently “Goodnight Lexi honey,” she cooed kissing her on the forehead.
18. Lexi’s first few days were uneventful, Phoebe loved her daughter more than anyone else in the world even more than Otto.
19. Time passed by so quickly and it was soon time for Lexi’s first birthday.
20. Little Lexi resembled her mother the most. There was no trace of her father in her apart from Lexi’s blonde hair.
21. Lexi was very much a daddy’s girl, Otto had decided to teach his daughter the necessary skills she needed as Phoebe wanted to concentrate on her work and earning money for Lexi’s future.
22. “Come on Lexi! Come to daddy!” Otto said beckoning to his daughter “DADA!” shrieked Lexi
23. “Oopsie!” giggled Lexi falling over and crawling towards Otto. Otto laughed “We’ll get it soon eh Lexi?”
24. “Right Lexi, you walk like this sweetheart,” smiled Otto “WALKIES!” shrieked Lexi stumbling a little.
25. “C’mon Lexi daddy got you a present,” Lexi giggled and squirmed “want present dada,” Otto laughed tickling her “Lunch first Lexi or mummy will tell daddy off,”
26. Lexi found herself giggling away, playing with a toy from her new toy box later.
27. “Momma!” Phoebe turned when she heard her 3 year old daughter shriek “Lexi! Have you learned how to walk now? Aren’t you a clever girl?”
28. Phoebe sighed as she painted, where had all the years gone? She was now an architect’s apprentice and tonight they’d celebrate Lexi’s 5th birthday and then she’d start school. But soon Lexi wouldn’t be an only child anymore , Phoebe smiled to herself . So far Lexi didn’t seem to be pleased to be a big sister but hopefully that could change.
29. Lexi’s birthday came so quickly, she was 5 and starting school. To everyone she seemed a lot older than 5 and Lexi still resembled her mother the most. “Hmph!” muttered Lexi “I don’t want to be a big sister, mom and daddy won’t love me anymore,”
30. “and they all lived happily ever after,” Phoebe smiled at her daughter as she closed the book “Goodnight Lexi,” she whispered as she turned out the light.
31. Lexi yawned and stretched as she heard her mother yell “Lexi! Breakfast!”
32. “Wow Lexi you finished your pancakes quick,” Phoebe said sitting beside her daughter “Mom, I’m nervous,” whispered Lexi. Phoebe squeezed her daughter’s shoulder “It’ll be fine sweetheart,”
33. “Morning my two favourite girls,” grinned Otto coming over with his pancakes. “Morning Daddy!” Lexi smiled brightly at Otto, he kissed his daughter’s cheek “Good luck at school today Lexi,”
34. As the arrival of the school bus drew ever closer, Lexi busied herself in her chores to try and stop her fear.
35. At 3.00pm, Lexi returned from school smiling away “It wasn’t that bad,” she muttered.
36. 4 months later, Phoebe was looking for a new book. She was an architect now and pregnant. Little Lexi seemed to have settled in well at school but when Phoebe had announced she was having twins, Lexi appeared to have become more hostile to the idea of being a big sister.
37. “The twins rooms are done,” smiled Phoebe to Lexi who merely scowled in response “Now Ericka will be here in a minute and daddy and I will go to the hospital,”
38. Phoebe tucked her newborn daughter Amelia into her crib, she could hear Otto putting their newborn son Robbie into a crib next door.
39. Lexi Taylor stood on the porch “Bye Ericka!” she called, it was a moment before she began to frown. She was nearly 9 years old now, not a kid anymore! Lexi didn’t want twin baby siblings especially sine her mom and daddy ignored her and focused all their attention on the terror twins as she’d decided to call them. It wasn’t fair!
