Ensuring the financial direction of each brand, through the below listed responsibilities, to ultimately
maximise stakeholders wealth. KPI’s include = Sales budgets, ROII, Gross Profit, Gross Margin, Stock turn
Responsibilities:
 Liaising and maintaining good relationships with Brand Principles/Manufacturer
 Allocating stock to stores based on a store analysis model
 Identifying quantities to be ordered from supplier based on past sales and required sales growth analysis
 Setting sales targets for stores based on budgeted sales and current trends
 Initiating the inter-transfer of stock between stores to maximise sales
 Modelling of store stock to suit the market in that particular area
 Ensuring that stores have the correct product assortment and healthy stock levels to service customers
 Preparation of weekly and monthly performance reports
 Analysis of product and store performance
 Following up on deliveries
 Monitoring daily sales and investigating variances
 Analysing age of stock and initiating markdown where necessary
 Rectifying store stock imbalances
 Assisting in annual and post seasonal brands performance reviews
 Sales Forecasting based on current and anticipated demand
 Warehouse stock forecasting, and making sure that adequate forward cover is maintained to meet
demand
