THE NITROGEN CYCLE

THE SULFUR CYCLE
NITROGEN
 A) HOW DO HUMANS INGEST
    IT?

                  HUMANS INGEST NITROGEN
                     THROUGH EATING PLANTS AND
                     ANIMALS. NITROGEN BENEFITS
                     THE GROUND, EARTH WORMS EAT
                     AND FERTILIZED THE DIRT,
                     PLANTS GROW, ANIMALS EAT
                     PLANTS. THEREFORE, WE INGEST
                     NITROGEN BY EATING PLANTS
                     AND ANIMALS.
 B) HOW DOES THIS ELEMENT BENEFIT
    HUMANS WHEN THEY INGEST IT?

                                 NITROGEN BENEFITS US
                                    BECAUSE IT MAKES
                                    PROTEINS IN OUR
                                    MUSCLES, SKIN, BLOOD,
                                    HAIR,NAILS, AND DNA.
C) WHAT HAPPENS
          TO HUMANS WHEN
          THEY DO NOT INGEST
          SUFFICIENT AMOUNTS
          OF THAT ELEMENT?

IF HUMANS DO NOT
HAVE SUFFICIENT
AMOUNTS OF
NITROGEN THEY
COULD POSSIBLY DIE.
D) HOW DO THESE ELEMENTS REACT
WITH EACH OTHER IN OUR BODIES?

 IF THEY REACT AT ALL THEY
         REACT WITH EACH OTHER
         AND GIVE LUNG DISEASES.
SULFUR A) HOW DO HUMANS INGEST IT?

   HUMANS INGEST SULFUR
   BY EATING FOOD.
B) HOW DOES THIS ELEMENT
BENEFIT HUMANS WHEN THEY
        INGEST IT?

                 IT BENEFITS HUMANS
             BECAUSE IT IS EFFECTIVE TO
                ARTHRITIS AND TO SKIN
             DISORDERS. IT ALSO PLAYS A
               VITAL ROLE IN SKIN, HAIR,
                  NAILS, AND JOINTS.
C) WHAT HAPPENS TO HUMANS WHEN
THEY DO NOT INGEST SUFFICIENT AMOUNTS
                       OF THAT ELEMENT?

 IF WE DO NOT GET
    SUFFICIENT AMOUNTS
    OF SULFUR, MUSCLES
    AND BONES WILL BE
    WEAK AND NOT STRONG
    ENOUGH.
D) HOW DO THESE ELEMENTS REACT WITH
EACH OTHER IN OUR BODIES?

                       They react with
                          each other and
                          give lung
                          disease
