36. The Oceanside Clean Water Program The Clean Water Program is a program that improves the water quality of Oceanside creeks, rivers, lakes, and beaches. This program is designed to not only to help the ocean but to help other bodies of water in the world. An example of their contributions are street-wide clean-ups
37. The Water Foundation The Water Education Foundation offers a variety of programs to teach our students, our future voters and leaders, about one of the most critical issues - water. The programs teach students about the history, geography and science of water. Students also learn about the difficult political and policy decisions surrounding this complex issue. Foundation programs are suitable for students in grades K-14. In addition, the Foundation serves as the California coordinator for national Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) K-12 program.
38. Heal the Bay Heal the Bay is a nonprofit environmental organization They dedicate by making Southern California coastal waters safe, healthy and clean. They use research, education, community action, and advocacy to pursue their mission. Santa Monica Bay is their primary focus.
39. American Heritage River Help river communities that seek resources to meet tough challenges. Without any new regulations on private property owners, state, local and tribal governments, the American Heritage Rivers initiative is about making more efficient and effective use of existing federal resources, cutting red-tape, and lending a helping hand.

Generosity Water Children usually carry around 40lbs of dirty water on average of 5 miles back and forth to their homes to eat, drink, and bathe in Grand Total of All Countries – 104 wells – 4 cisterns Over 50,000 people served with clean water Countries that Generosity Water is targeting: -China -Uganda -Nigeria -Peru By collaborating with Generosity Water, Markham Middle School raised enough money to build one well in Africa, which is around $3,000
