2. Legislative Branch What they do: Their job is to make the laws for the United States. The Legislative branch is more commonly known as Congress.

4. Executive Branch What they do: The job of the executive branch is to make sure that all the laws are followed.
5. Executive Branch Who they are: Everyone knows the head of the executive branch. It is the President of the United States. The second in command would be the Vice President of the United States and his job is to help the President handle everything there is to handle.
6. Judicial Branch What they do: They decide the meanings of the laws made. They interpret the laws.
7. Judicial Branch Who they are: There are many courts all around, but the highest court with the most power is the Supreme court and they handle only the biggest cases, no cases go directly to the supreme court they are appealed over and over and then if they have big enough controversy the supreme court will try the case.
