This document provides an agenda for a two-day global sustainability jam being held in Hong Kong in 2013. The jam will bring together diverse participants from different countries to work in teams and develop new ideas to address a sustainability theme. Day 1 activities include introductory presentations on sustainability and human-centered design, forming teams, conducting user research, and developing personas. Day 2 focuses on idea generation, prototyping, and team presentations to a jury for feedback. The jam aims to promote practical solutions through a hands-on, collaborative process rather than conventional conference discussions.
4. Are you ready for
a challenge?
You are a part of a global event along with other designers,
sustainability experts, professors, musicians, accountants, students,
kids, grandpas from other countries.
This weekend you will work together to create brand new real world
ideas which can make a difference. You will be given a theme and it is
up to you what problem you what you want to make out of it.
And oh yeah.. you will be doing, not talking!
A jam is not a
conference.
