It is incredibly rewarding to successfully work in the field of artistry and
design. My professional background includes over thirty years’ experience
as a designer, creative director and consultant. I’ve had the privilege to
develop identities and produce promotional materials for countless small
companies and large corporations throughout the country, assisting them
to take their products and services to the marketplace.
I’ve been honored with three National Awards for Design Excellence:
a college annual report, a logo-on-letterhead design and an industrial
tradeshow exhibit. In 2007, four artworks were published and sold in
stores throughtout the country. And amazingly, a recent fine art
expression now hangs in Medical facilities and private homes.
In 1980, I received a Master’s Degree in Design, and I’ve taught design,
artistry, and color theory at a university level. For the past 23+ years,
I’ve been freelancing out of my home under the banner of Rhakos LLC.
All said, there’s no greater privilege than to promote The One who
has captured my heart. My greater passion is to help people connect with
one another and with God in real and unpretentious ways through
artistic expression.
The RockWater™ Collections, inspired by my travels to Israel, is my most
current work. While there, The Word is unveiled and illuminated,
becoming more experiential in such incredible ways.
I’ll probably never fully retire. People who
believe in destiny just can’t do so. I’ve
discovered it’s imperative to have a strong
and restful heart.
