To whom it may concern,
I am writing this letter in reference to a teaching position for Betty Kouts. I have known Betty for 5 years
and have worked closely with her in an educational setting. Betty and I worked together at the D. Scott
Hudgens Early Education Center where we operated as cooperating teachers. The two of us spent time
developing lesson plans, enriching our classrooms and enhancing the minds and lives of our students. I
have learned a great deal from Betty. She has inspired me to be a better teacher by observing her
techniques and practices.
Betty has a passion for children and it shows in her work. Her students are always deeply connected to
her. The children look to her as a nurturing person and show her a great deal of respect. She has the
ability to accommodate to the needs of each individual student. Betty places emphasis on the student
and is mindful that each child is different. Although she takes the time to tailor her lessons to help the
students individually, she also places high value on rigor, expecting her students to grow and succeed.
In my experience with Betty, she displays an open mind and kind heart. She faces any new challenges
and is not easily discouraged. Betty embraces a trial and uses it as a new learning opportunity. She is a
hard worker and takes pride in her work. Betty is punctual and puts a great deal of time into her
teaching. I am confident if Betty taught at your school, she would display a level of loyalty and integrity
that is unmatchable.
I highly recommend Betty Kouts as a candidate for a teaching position in your school. Her overall
passion for children and desire to teach makes her an incredible applicant.
Sincerely,
Amy Cobia
