Since 1991, Stanton Chase has grown from four offices in three countries to 70+ offices in 40+ countries. Our

Partner Biography
Chris Arnold is dedicated to serving client companies in North America. Chris has a
demonstrated record of success in completing assignments for global clients.
With over 25 years of search experience, Chris has a global practice that includes
functional appointments of senior and executive management, including Chief Executive
Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief
Technology Officer, Head of Human Resources, and other key leadership positions.
Before executive search Chris worked in Corporate Finance at General Foods
Corporation in both North and South America, and in Public Accounting across all
industries at KPMG Peat, Marwick. At KPMG Chris received his CPA license. Chris
holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
Chris has a leadership role in Youth Lacrosse, both at a Board level and as a Coach. He
supports local community efforts, including mentoring and career coaching, and has been
active with Habitat for Humanity, The Bottom Line, and the Department of Children &
Families.

Partner Biography
Tom Barao is dedicated to serving clients in North America. Prior, Tom was a Managing
Director in the Boston & New York offices of Korn/Ferry International (NYSE). He travels
frequently, as his clients are located across the U.S., Europe and Asia.
His experience includes assignments to find C-level executives and key senior level
managers. Prior to Korn/Ferry International, Tom was an Executive Vice President for
Robert Half International (NYSE). He worked on the company’s IPO, strategic
planning, acquisitions and sales/marketing activities.
Tom has a combined twenty-five years of asset management and business services
experience. He received his B.A. from the University of Rhode Island where he was also
a member of the university’s basketball team. His efforts with the Dana-Farber Cancer
Institute Leadership Council, the Women’s Campaign Fund and the New England
Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) involve fundraising, sponsorship, mentoring and coaching.

Partner Biography
Bernard has 22 years of experience in the executive search business. He began his
career at a national firm and, as Partner and Division President, started the Chicago
operation for the organization. In 1992, Bernard founded Morgan International, Inc. and
subsequently Nicholas Partners, which rebranded as Peoplenext in October 2004. As of
July 2008, Peoplenext became Stanton Chase Chicago.
Bernard has successfully performed over 2200 searches spanning a wide range of senior
and mid-management positions such as Presidents, Chief Executive Officers, Partner and
Senior Vice Presidents across a number of industries, with particular expertise in
Engineering, Construction, Management Consulting, Consumer Products, Industrial and
Financial Services.
Bernard earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from San Diego State
University.

Partner Biography
Jennifer joined Stanton Chase’s Technology Practice in Silicon Valley. Starting her search
career during the dot-com era of the 90’s in San Francisco, brings world class retained
search firm experience in servicing technology companies, large public organizations, as
well as the equity community
.
Jennifer spent close to a decade with a boutique search firm filling key executive and
management roles in the Technology industry. Her engagements often include heads of
revenue and marketing roles at technology leaders such as:
Equinix, BEA, BDNA, CA, Guidewire, Juniper
Networks, SAP, SignalDemand, Sybase, TriNet, and Wyse Technology. With a reputation
of building strong, one-on-one relationships with both candidates and clients, Jennifer
brings the perspective required to select just the right executive based on skills, needs
and leadership style.
Previously, she was an integral part of Internet Capital Group's (ICG) global executive
search team as Director of Operations where she helped ICG Executive Recruiting grow
to become one of the largest internal executive recruiting groups in the corporate world.
Jennifer was in investment banking with Bear Stearns in San Francisco before joining the
search industry and earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from San
Francisco State University.
