programs that study population and immigration
issues and how they affect the environment. As the
founder of the Population Media Center, Bill Ryerson
studies a number of research materials, including the
Sabido Methodology to find solutions to creating a
sustainable environment based on the world’s
population.
The Sabido Methodology uses a five step procedure
adapted from a linear diagram created from a
communication model by Shannon and Weaver in 1949
in order to impact behavioral change.

3.  The model was used by M. Sabido to create a
communication circuit that shows the way the
process of communication works and how it
can be altered by population changes.
The Sabido Methodology also uses a social
learning theory that shows how people can
develop new behaviors by interacting with
others. The Sabido studies show how the
values of others in a social learning
environment can change someone’s personality
and behavior.
