Achieve competitive advantage by putting supply chain innovation at
the core of your company’s growth strategy
Dear Colleague,
As American industry moves towards an era of unprecedented growth, and the associated risk, Fortune 500 CEOs are
increasingly turning to their supply chains as a source of competitive advantage and innovation. This progression has been
accompanied by the rise in importance of supply chain management executives, and the increasing appearance of Chief Supply
Chain Officers (CSCOs) on management boards.
Competition is no longer company vs. company, but supply chain vs. supply chain. The CSCO Forum is the place where the
leaders of these operations gather to discover how to maximize the opportunity that this position of increased importance brings.
The Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum is designed with the help of an Advisory Board that includes the Heads of Supply Chain
for the world’s leading manufacturers, retailers and OEMs. Their knowledge and experience has enabled us to create a truly
interactive forum in which you can benchmark your work, discuss your challenges with peers at your level, and walk away with a
set of case studies and strategies that are immediately implementable.
The aim is not to hold yet another conference – it’s to put you in a room with the best supply chain management practitioners in
the industry and facilitate discussions and relationships that are guaranteed to make a huge difference to your work and your
career.
Unlike other events, the Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum is completely industry-led. This means you will hear from senior
supply chain executives hand chosen by our Advisory Board, as well as carefully chosen industry analysts. With a dual focus on
Innovation & Strategy, and Execution Excellence, don’t be surprised if your notes from this meeting become your most important
strategy document for the year!
With a focused agenda led by the most sought-after speakers, and sessions and networking events that guarantee a new set of
the most exclusive contacts in the industry, the return on your time and investment is clear. So secure a front row seat for an
unobstructed view of the future of strategic supply chain management. Reserve your place today and join the industry elite.
Myself and the CSCO Forum team look forward to meeting you in Atlanta this June.

Achieve competitive advantage by putting
supply chain innovation at the core of your
company’s growth strategy
Every recession has a silver lining.
Or to put it another way, savvy businesses that have decided that recognizing
the importance of supply chain management to the overall business strategy –
rather than a purely operational function – are quietly gaining an edge.
John T. Mentzer, Executive Director of Integrated Value Chain Forums at the
University of Tennessee found clear evidence of the difference this recognition
makes: “In benchmarking the Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices
of hundreds of companies, we have learned that many companies actually
achieve competitive advantage by leveraging the management of their
supply chains.”
In fact, the current economic climate remains potentially one of the best
opportunities you could wish for. Pressing ahead with the right supply chain
innovation strategy will pay off on a variety of levels. Especially if you’re fully
prepared and aware of the risks.
Learn from the Heads of supply chain of some of the world’s highest performing
manufacturers, retailers & OEMs
If you’ve attended the CSCO Forum before, you’ll know we set the gold
standard in terms of the speakers we attract. Even by our own high standards,
this year’s expert line-up is exceptional.
The VP Supply Chains of Walmart, Home Depot, Sysco, McAfee, Fujitsu, Baxter,
Gambro, Symantec, Dominos, Office Depot, Adtran, Xerox and Interface (to
name a few) are eager to share their knowledge, discuss hot topics and issues,
and answer your specific questions.
When you come to examine the Forum Agenda, you’ll see how the sessions
deliver big picture thinking on future strategies, with an emphasis on fostering
the type of innovation that delivers outstanding performance and strengthens
customer relationships.
In addition there are a full set of networking opportunities. These enable you
to discuss what you learn in the sessions with speakers, peers and analysts in
personal conversations that will widen your network of key contacts. For many
influential executives, the CSCO Forum is the only conference they leave the
office for, and the opportunity to meet with them in an informal setting is rare
and invaluable. Multiply that by the number of industry elite who will be in the
room with you and the ROI on your attendance becomes unmistakable.
With the new economy to contend with, never has there been a more crucial
time in which to come together as industry colleagues and listen to our
partners and competitors discuss the new shape of the market.
This year’s event will give you fresh, relevant, and hugely authoritative insights
into your own strategies. It’s your one chance to have a quality dialogue with
world-renowned executives. I hope you’ll be able to join us in Atlanta.

Katharine O’Reilly

Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum June 21 23, 2011

  • 1. Achieve competitive advantage by putting supply chain innovation at the core of your company’s growth strategy Dear Colleague, As American industry moves towards an era of unprecedented growth, and the associated risk, Fortune 500 CEOs are increasingly turning to their supply chains as a source of competitive advantage and innovation. This progression has been accompanied by the rise in importance of supply chain management executives, and the increasing appearance of Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) on management boards. Competition is no longer company vs. company, but supply chain vs. supply chain. The CSCO Forum is the place where the leaders of these operations gather to discover how to maximize the opportunity that this position of increased importance brings. The Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum is designed with the help of an Advisory Board that includes the Heads of Supply Chain for the world’s leading manufacturers, retailers and OEMs. Their knowledge and experience has enabled us to create a truly interactive forum in which you can benchmark your work, discuss your challenges with peers at your level, and walk away with a set of case studies and strategies that are immediately implementable. The aim is not to hold yet another conference – it’s to put you in a room with the best supply chain management practitioners in the industry and facilitate discussions and relationships that are guaranteed to make a huge difference to your work and your career. Unlike other events, the Chief Supply Chain Officer Forum is completely industry-led. This means you will hear from senior supply chain executives hand chosen by our Advisory Board, as well as carefully chosen industry analysts. With a dual focus on Innovation & Strategy, and Execution Excellence, don’t be surprised if your notes from this meeting become your most important strategy document for the year! With a focused agenda led by the most sought-after speakers, and sessions and networking events that guarantee a new set of the most exclusive contacts in the industry, the return on your time and investment is clear. So secure a front row seat for an unobstructed view of the future of strategic supply chain management. Reserve your place today and join the industry elite. Myself and the CSCO Forum team look forward to meeting you in Atlanta this June. Kind regards, Katharine O’Reilly Executive Director eyefortransport 1800 814 3459 ext.7207 koreilly@eft.com PS. The top-tier supply chain executives don’t leave their offices for just any conference – but you will find them at the CSCO Forum in Atlanta. Remember to secure your place beside them before March 24h for an extra $100 – a total $600 saving off the full price. See your unique discount code on the enclosed brochure. Or to put it another way, savvy businesses that have decided that recognizing the importance of supply chain management to the overall business strategy – rather than a purely operational function – are quietly gaining an edge. John T. Mentzer, Executive Director of Integrated Value Chain Forums at the University of Tennessee found clear evidence of the difference this recognition makes: “In benchmarking the Supply Chain Management (SCM) practices of hundreds of companies, we have learned that many companies actually achieve competitive advantage by leveraging the management of their supply chains.” In fact, the current economic climate remains potentially one of the best opportunities you could wish for. Pressing ahead with the right supply chain innovation strategy will pay off on a variety of levels. Especially if you’re fully prepared and aware of the risks. Learn from the Heads of supply chain of some of the world’s highest performing manufacturers, retailers & OEMs If you’ve attended the CSCO Forum before, you’ll know we set the gold standard in terms of the speakers we attract. Even by our own high standards, this year’s expert line-up is exceptional. The VP Supply Chains of Walmart, Home Depot, Sysco, McAfee, Fujitsu, Baxter, Gambro, Symantec, Dominos, Office Depot, Adtran, Xerox and Interface (to name a few) are eager to share their knowledge, discuss hot topics and issues, and answer your specific questions. When you come to examine the Forum Agenda, you’ll see how the sessions deliver big picture thinking on future strategies, with an emphasis on fostering the type of innovation that delivers outstanding performance and strengthens customer relationships. In addition there are a full set of networking opportunities. These enable you to discuss what you learn in the sessions with speakers, peers and analysts in personal conversations that will widen your network of key contacts. For many influential executives, the CSCO Forum is the only conference they leave the office for, and the opportunity to meet with them in an informal setting is rare and invaluable. Multiply that by the number of industry elite who will be in the room with you and the ROI on your attendance becomes unmistakable. With the new economy to contend with, never has there been a more crucial time in which to come together as industry colleagues and listen to our partners and competitors discuss the new shape of the market. This year’s event will give you fresh, relevant, and hugely authoritative insights into your own strategies. It’s your one chance to have a quality dialogue with world-renowned executives. I hope you’ll be able to join us in Atlanta. Kind regards, Katharine O’Reilly Executive Director eyefortransport We are proud to state that the CSCO Forum is the most elite and relevant event for supply chain management practitioners - this is our guarantee to you!
