5. Logo Development 3
In this logo development I started by changing the splat from a pure dark purple, to a more
shiny looking one. I did this by using a fade tool to fade the colour from the centre to the
edges, this softened the purple and makes it look shiny. The final development is where I
changed the colour of the E and the 4 to white, this worked better with the corporate identity
theory of E4. I also repositioned the E and 4 so that they are closer together and slightly
touching to make it look as though the E flows into the 4.
6. Final Logo
and
Justification
I chose this as my final logo because it links
very strongly with the corporate identity
theory. The colour of the logo is purple,
which is E4’s signature colour, I also
used the colour white on the font which
again fits with E4’s corporate identity
theory. I also decided to use this as my
final logo because it fit with the target
audience of E4, it isn’t too childish but it
can be easily recognized due to the
bright colour and simplicity of the logo.
