What do I want from my Organization? How do I get it? The day-to-day responsibilities of running your own Organization leave little time to focus on long-term vision, goals, and strategies. Find time in your schedule to spend it with Listening to Your Organization, a half-day workshop from FastTrac. Created for entrepreneurs just like you, Listening to Your Organization makes the most of the knowledge you have about your Organization—and the limited time you have to make it better.
In today’s workshop you will learn more about your Organization by looking at four separate steps: Your 3-year vision for your organization The life cycles of Organizationes and transitions The Planning tools and competencies needed to move your company to the next level. Transition tactics- those vehicles that will benchmark the move from one organizational level to another.

You are allowing yourself the time to realize that running and maintaining a successful Organization has some of the same characteristics as having and maintaining a successful relationship with a meaningful person

25-minutes Shake off the world of visioning and take on the world of reality Its time to listen to your Organization. It’s time to imagine yourself entering their comjpanies today as if they have never been there before. Imagine yourself as an informed auditor who is making an objective review. What is the Organization saying to you today. 7-minutes Follow along with me- read instructions at the top of page 14 Be brutally frank with yourself as you listen to your Organization. Take about 7 minutes to make notes on page3 14 objectively reviewing your company as it now stands
5-minutes Complete page 15 Break into groups of 2, share with each other the gaps between their current Organization and their 3-year visions. Coach each other as they complete Section B on page 15 Conclude this activity: When planning change, it always helps to know about the various stages of the Organization life cycle. Identifying where your Organization is in this life cycle will help you know how to go about realizing your 3-year vision. Let’s take a 15-minute break and they we’ll begin a fun, group learning activity around Organization life cycles.
