Definition of the Performance Evaluation Framework Outline of linkages between the Planning and Performance Evaluation frameworks Detailed descriptions of the outcomes and requirements of each level of the Performance Evaluation Framework Examples of the types of measures required at each level of the framework Performance evaluation definitions to assist with consistency across the organisation Recommended reporting methodologies and frequencies for each level of the framework The proposed model is consistent with best practice integrated planning and performance evaluation frameworks and enhances the current reporting and evaluation processes. The integrated framework will provide: the ability for the Chief Executive, DEH Executive and program managers to attain information pertaining to whole of program outcomes a stronger link between the Corporate Plan and Regional/Branch Business Plans through the reporting on Programs as a whole a performance evaluation framework linked to strategic directions and operational (program) delivery clear and consistent reporting timeframes, audiences and methodologies - the ability for DEH staff to see how their day to day activities align with the DEH Corporate Plan.
