In line with President Martelly’s vision and
Prime Minister Lamothe’s plan to attract new
investments the Center for Facilitation of
Investments presented brand new promotional
materials on August 19, 2013 to prove once
again that Haiti is open for business!
The innovative business oriented website
www.cfihaiti.com contains all the information
investors need to successfully implement a
business in Haiti. Find out facts on key
investment sectors and purchase your
preregistered company online through
CFI100. The versatile mobile ready website
can help you stay connected and informed
anywhere and anytime! You can also read and

to Haiti.
CFI also launched its new web-based
platform CFI PRO where investors and
government institutions can consult
information on investment projects and track
progress online. This new tool will ensure an
efficient follow-up and expedite procedures.
In efforts to strengthen the relationship
between Haiti and Turks & Caicos, and share
business opportunities between the two
countries, CFI welcomed a delegation from Turks
and Caicos. As part of their stay, members visited
the Citadelle with the Minister of Tourism and
met with the CFI team to discuss possible
business ventures.
Furthermore, CFI welcomed Canadian
Investors and presented the different incentives
offered by the government for qualified
businesses, such as the following:
- tax holiday up to 15 years;
- municipal tax exemption up to 15 years;
- exemption of customs duty for raw material
and equipment;
- property tax exemption during the first 10
years.
Haytrac Power & Gas, Promigas and Andinat
launched the construction of the first Liquefied
Natural Gas Terminal and Pipeline.
