1.
2. By faith Noah, being warned by God

fear constructed an ark for the saving of his
household. By this he condemned the world
and became an heir of the righteousness that
comes by faith.
Hebrews 11:7 (ESV)

• Noah maintained the RIGHT ATTITUDE,
• Noah took RIGHT APPROACH.
5. Only be strong and very courageous, being
careful to do according to all the law that
Moses my servant commanded you. Do not
turn from it to the right hand or to the left,
that you may have good success wherever you
go.
Joshua 1:7 (ESV)
6. Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give
you the desires of your heart.
Psalm 37:4 (ESV)
7. Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight, and
the earth was filled with violence. And God
saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for
all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.
And God said to Noah, "I have determined to
make an end of all flesh, for the earth is filled
with violence through them. Behold, I will
destroy them with the earth. Make yourself an
ark of gopher wood. Make rooms in the ark,
and cover it inside and out with pitch.
8. This is how you are to make it: the length of
the ark 300 cubits, its breadth 50 cubits, and
its height 30 cubits. Make a roof for the ark,
and finish it to a cubit above, and set the door
of the ark in its side. Make it with lower,
second, and third decks. For behold, I will
bring a flood of waters upon the earth to
destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life
under heaven. Everything that is on the earth
shall die.
9. But I will establish my covenant with you, and
you shall come into the ark, you, your sons,
your wife, and your sons’ wives with you. And
of every living thing of all flesh, you shall bring
two of every sort into the ark to keep them
alive with you. They shall be male and female.
Of the birds according to their kinds, and of
the animals according to their kinds, of every
creeping thing of the ground, according to its
kind, two of every sort shall come in to you to
keep them alive.
10. Also take with you every sort of food that is
eaten, and store it up. It shall serve as food for
you and for them.“ Noah did this; he did all
that God commanded him.
Genesis 6:11-22 (ESV)
11. Noah’s Faith
Expressed In Three Actions
1. BELIEVE – He believed what God said about
the future.
2. ADJUST – He adjusted his life accordingly.
3. BUILD – He built the ark faithfully.
12. Three Outcomes of Noah’s Actions
1. Noah’s family was saved.
2. The wicked were proven wrong.
3. Noah was considered righteous.
13. For as were the days of Noah, so will be the
coming of the Son of Man. For as in those
days before the flood they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,
until the day when Noah entered the ark, and
they were unaware until the flood came and
swept them all away, so will be the coming of
the Son of Man.
Matthew 24:37-39 (ESV)
14. Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son
of Man is coming at an hour you do not
expect. "Who then is the faithful and wise
servant, whom his master has set over his
household, to give them their food at the
proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his
master will find so doing when he comes.
Truly, I say to you, he will set him over all his
possessions.
15. But if that wicked servant says to himself, 'My
master is delayed,' and begins to beat his
fellow servants and eats and drinks with
drunkards, the master of that servant will
come on a day when he does not expect him
and at an hour he does not know and will cut
him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites.
In that place there will be weeping and
gnashing of teeth.”
Matthew 24:44-51 (ESV)
16. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast,
immovable, always abounding in the work of
the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor
is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV)
