Friends of Fair Park and the Dallas Park and Recreation Department are inviting people to join guided tram tours of Fair Park led by historian Willis Winters on select Saturdays in May, June, July, and August. The free 90-minute tours for Friends of Fair Park members and $10 tours for non-members will explore the history, art, and architecture of the 277-acre park, including murals, buildings from the 1936 Texas Centennial, and the Esplanade fountains. Space is limited and reservations are required.

Explore the legacy of Fair Park, home of the 1936 Texas Centennial
Friends of Fair Park and Dallas Park and Recreation Department invite you to
join renowned author and Dallas historian Willis Winters, AIA Fellow, for a
narrated tour of Fair Park’s art, architecture and history.
Guided tram tours begin at 9 a.m. on Saturdays at the Magnolia Lounge at
Fair Park. Tours are free for Friends of Fair Park members and $10 for
non-members. Space is limited to 45 guests per tour. Call (214) 426-3400 to

Learn about the grand history of this 277-acre premier park. See the
legendary murals of the Centennial and Automobile buildings. Catch a
glimpse of the dancing waters of the Esplanade.
Copies of “Fair Park,” written by Mr. Winters, are available for purchase and
signing. Proceeds benefit the Dallas Park Foundation.
