• Research – empowerment, diversity, and
  labor-management relations
• Teaching – previously at UNLV, Washington
  State University, NYU, and Cornell.
• Currently – Director of the Fritz Knoebel
  School of Hospitality Management in the
  Daniels College of Business at the University

            How can I get noticed?

• Get your foot in the door
   – Serving, bussing, etc.
   – Get a flavor for the business
      • Understand hospitality has high “burn-out”
• Look for the side that interests you the most, avoid
  what can burn you out.
   – Try marketing or being a supplier.

How can I get noticed? • Get your foot in the door – Serving, bussing, etc. – Get a flavor for the business • Understand hospitality has high “burn-out” • Look for the side that interests you the most, avoid what can burn you out. – Try marketing or being a supplier.
